A nice Japanese hip hop / jazz groove on Next Level label from
1999!! This is basically a hip
hop 12”, but it’s got nice inst mixes for both tracks! B-2 is an inst mix of the “Brothers”
track, with hip hop style downtempo beats, deep basslines, voice
fragments(just saying “Brothers, brothers”), weird jungle sound effects and
alto sax(?) phrases!! And D-2 is
a superb inst nu-jazz style track by Force of Nature, with midtempo jazz
beats, deep ‘n jazzy basslines, moody synthe keys, funky drum break &
musical piano phrases / solo on top!! |
