A nice ‘n weird house /trance track by Maji Na Damu on obscure promo
looking label(cat# 8013)!! Not
sure the origin of this record, but have a feeling this is Japanese!! Despite the title “funky town”, this does
not sound like a cover of Lipps Inc’s track, except for that there’s a few
vocal phrases that goes “funky town” in LI’s tone. Anyway, the track is a semi-inst trance / house style,
with house beats, a bit techno-ey basslines, occasional percussions and
synthe sounds!! |
