A weird ‘n groovy track by Kan Takagi(Major Force) + Yasuharu
Konishi!! I’m not quite sure
what this “Epoche” thing is…., but there’s an inner picture sheet, with
drawings of Epochoe and crews.
What I’d guess from the drawings are this is either a video game
character or some anime tv character…..A-1 is a mix by Kan Takagi, with
midtempo breakbeat style drums, groovy basslines, weird cartoon-ish voice
phrase in parts, dub effects & space-y synthe sounds / solos!! A-2 is another humorous ‘n groovy
track by Yasuharu Konishi, with midtempo breakbeat style drums that turns
into uptempo samba style in the middle, groovy basslines, sitar sounds in
parts, humorous cartoon-ish sound efx + voice(vocal??) that bizarrely go well
with deep breakbeats!! B-1 is
another mix by Y.Konishi, with midtempo breakbeat drums, moody synthe sounds,
musical piano keys, vibe solo, nicely echoed guitar phrases in parts &
strangely matching cartoon voice(except for the cartoon voice, this track is
really deep ‘n musical! Yet this
voice is still incorporated perfectly!!)!! B-2 is also a nice mix by Kan Takagi, with tribal style
midtempo beats that turns into old school style house beats in the middle,
deep basslines, soundtrack style brass stab in parts and off course, nicely
matched cartoon sounds/voice sprinkled over the track!! |
