A wicked compilation 12” by Toshiyuki Goto on Flower label from
2002?!! A-side has a superb jazz
groove by the Harlettes from 1978(yes, the cover of famous one…originally
done by Herbie Hancock?)!! The
track starts off with slow jazz vocal track, then turns into a groovy fusion
jazz style track, with groovy jazz basslines, musical piano parts, funky guitar
phrases and female vocal phrases in parts!! Side-B is a nice ‘n deep midtempo groove by Fertile
Ground, with brokendown midtempo beats, deep ‘n groovy basslines, musical
piano parts and soulful female vocal!! |
