A wicked soul / disco style track on Crue-L promo 12” 1997!! I believe this is a promo only 12”
release with instrumental / accapella mixes + Time and days track(later
remixed by Harvey)!! Or if this
had come out as a regular release, that’s very hard to get(never seen it for
sale). I think this is a cover
version of some 70’s ~ 80’s disco / soul track(can’t remember who it’s by,
but I’m pretty sure I’ve heard it as a disco track). Anyway, the track is a superb
downtempo disco-ish style, with a bit slow disco beats(like 110bpm), mellow
yet groovy basslines, musical electric piano keys, flute phrases, and female
vocal in English on top!! A-2 is
an instrumental mix of the track, which, I’m sure, is only on this 12”. Also, B-1 has another nice inst disco
style track “Time and days”(again, which is later remixed by DJ Harvey), with
raw disco-ey beats, groovy basslines, musical piano keys and 70’s Philly
disco style strings!! And B-2 is
an accapella version of the A-1 track(which, I also think, is only on this
12”)!! |
